Health

The health and safety of our community is always our top priority. District 6 is committed to addressing barriers to students' health and wellness by providing education, programs, and activities that improve students' health. We strive to decrease health disparities within the district by coordinating school health programs and student services. 

The nurses in District 6 serve all of the students and staff in our 8 buildings through direct services and through consultation with staff, family, and administration. Nurses support all aspects of health and safety in the school community by providing emergency care, identifying and managing health issues, and facilitating access to school health care. Every school has an assigned Registered Nurse or Certified School Nurse to provide continuous health care.
