Additional Disinfection
To help avoid the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), our cleaning service, RJB, has instructed their staff to increase the disinfection of touchpoints while also making disinfection a multi-step process. They have provided the following handout for more information.

What can you do?
• Continue to practice effective hand washing techniques
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Stay home at the first sign of any symptoms of illness
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

COVID-19 and Mental Health
While much of our current focus is on how to best protect the physical health of ourselves and others, it is equally important that we talk about and take proper steps to ensure we maintain our mental health and the mental health of our children.

Talk to your child about COVID-19. Answer questions and share facts in a way they can understand.

Reassure your child that they are safe, and comfort them when needed.

Share how you deal with stress so that they can learn how to cope with you.

Limit your family's exposure to news coverage of the event.

Keep a regular routine. Take breaks, rest, exercise, and eat well.

It is important that parents are in tune with their children during these unprecedented times. See the resources below for additional information.
