Each District 6 school has an in-building Student Support Services
Team which meets on a regular basis to determine needs and develop
strategies for individual students. The classroom teacher is an
integral part of the group and serves as the case manager for the
child presented. Other group members may include the principal, the
Title 1 specialist, the resource teacher, the school psychologist,
the speech-language pathologist, the social worker, and other
classroom teachers. As a collaborative group, the members of the
team discuss student needs, make recommendations, and share
responsibilities.8:00-8:30 Tues.
