Interested in Volunteeering?
We welcome you to Zion District 6!

THANK YOU!  Thank you for your interest in making an impact in our children’s lives and in their school careers.  We want this to be an enjoyable process from beginning to end for anyone that wants to volunteer in our schools while always keeping our children’s safety in mind.

Below are a few examples of what process you, the volunteer will need to go through depending on the type of school function/event you will be attending.

Below are the
steps volunteers need to complete prior to attending a function/event.
1. Pick-up a volunteer packet. Packets are available at each school or District office.
2. Complete the packet in its entirety.
3. Based upon the activity categories noted below, either contact Human Resources for a fingerprinting appointment or complete the Secure Volunteer (BIB) online background screening.
